![]() ![]() This book has inspired me in such a profound way that I'm now savouring and enjoying life like never before. I work in IT and haven't had an inclination to do anything creative since I had to do art at school. ![]() ![]() Not only does Elizabeth Gilbert have a lovely reading voice, but there is so much wisdom in Big Magic, I would recommend this book to everyone - not just frustrated artist, actors, writers, dancers. I can't think of any other book I've listened to quite so intently. This may be why I ended up with Big Magic after searching for a completely different Audible book, and I'm tremendously grateful. Somehow missed the whole Eat Pray Love phenomenon, so when I finished The Signature of All Things (which I loved) I got a big surprise when I followed up on Elizabeth Gilbert. Grateful for the big magic algorithm that gave me this book ![]()

In Dirtbag, Massachusetts, Fitzgerald, with warmth and humor, recounts his ongoing search for forgiveness, a more far-reaching vision of masculinity, and a more expansive definition of family and self. But before all that, he was a bomb that exploded his parents' lives-or so he was told. He's been an altar boy, a bartender, a fat kid, a smuggler, a biker, a prince of New England. ![]() pulling no punches on the path to truth, but it always finds the capacity for grace and joy." -Esquire, "Best Memoirs of the Year" A TIME Best Book of the Season * A Rolling Stone Top Culture Pick * A Publishers Weekly Best Memoir of the Season * A Buzzfeed Book Pick * A Goodreads Readers' Most Anticipated Book * A Chicago Tribune Book Pick * A Book You Should Read * A Los Angeles Times Book to Add to Your Reading List * An Entertainment Weekly Best Book of the Month Isaac Fitzgerald has lived many lives. ![]() NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER USA TODAY BESTSELLER Winner of the New England Book Award for Nonfiction "The best of what memoir can accomplish. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Personally,I always wondered about authors and celebrities who loudly declared there's no God.It was usually when they were being healthy and famous and being listened to by crowds. Illuminata brings prayer into our daily lives, with prayers on topics from releasing anger to finding forgiveness, from finding great love to achieving intimacy. Prayer is practical, Williamson tells us. Marianne Williamson's bestselling A Return to Love ended with a prayer in which she asked God to help us "find our way home, from the pain to peace, from fear to love, from hell to Heaven." Now, in this stunning new collection of thoughts, prayers, and rites of passage, Marianne Williamson returns to prayer. ![]() ![]() The capricious spirits that rule the isle by fire, water, earth, and wind find mirth in the lives of the humans who call the land home.
